How to Get Started in Earning Money Through Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing offers earning opportunities, making it as one of the fastest growing industry in the World Wide Web today. It produces billions of dollars worth of income yearly. That is why many people are getting involved in it.

However, most of them are just getting into the jive of earning money without a concrete plan. You will have no strategies to be implemented, no guidelines to be followed.

In case that you are planning to get yourself involved in affiliate marketing, bear in your mind that it is a serious work. Though it is one of the easier ways of earning additional income, it still requires effort, perseverance, and a clear plan of action from your starting point up to the finish line.

To start things with, here are some of the elements that you need to consider in engaging yourself in affiliate marketing:

•	Having your little home office is the initial element that you need to consider in starting your affiliate career.

Have your office workspace comfortable to work with. Make sure that it has enough illumination and your personal computer has enough ventilation as well.

•	You must have some basic knowledge of trading online. It is necessary to be well trained in order to achieve success in this career. In case you are still unfamiliar of the system, you can get the necessary training that you need.

You can start by looking for some affiliate-marketing professionals who already earned substantial extra income and let them guide you on the system. The Internet also offers different resources and conference timetables, which you can attend to learn.

•	Set a realistic target so that you can put the necessary plans to reach it. For instance, ,000 is attainable if you are a first time affiliate marketer.

Since the popularity of affiliate marketing is increasing, it leads to an increase of earning opportunities. Now, you will ask yourself, “How will I choose the right affiliate marketing program?” and “Which of it will give me that good chance of earning a substantial income?”

The preceding sections can help you decide on those matters pertaining to affiliate marketing. These will help you evaluate different opportunities and saving your personal resources as well.

The Commission

Of course, that is the bottom line. How much will you earn from a sale? There is no point of endorsing a product or a service if you will not earn from it.

It will lead you in spending more on marketing it rather than making sales. Stick on a program that offers high commission values, possibly on a 50 percent basis.

Traffic on the Merchant’s Website

Try to know the traffic that the merchant’s site is receiving. You can use this standard for you to determine which you will affiliate.

If a certain website ranked in the top 100,000, this means that website has a good volume of traffic and it has vast amount of affiliates. If it is ranked below 500,000, then it means you get either a little opportunity or nothing at all.

Always conduct some research if the merchant’s site is getting good web traffic. It will help you decide where that gold mine is hiding.

Pay-out Periods

It is important to know how often you will receive your paychecks. There are merchants that release the commission of their affiliates in weekly basis. Others are monthly or quarterly. Your target will not be met if your financial resources will run out.

Tracking Cookies

Usually, potential customers will just be making some visit and will not make any purchase immediately. It is important that the merchant’s website use cookies to track these customers so that you will be able to get the credit once he returns and buys anything in that site. The longer these tracking cookies last, the higher the chance you will be paid.

Merchant’s Promotional Resources

In advertising, promotional resources are vital elements. Check the type and quality of these promotional materials that they are offering to their affiliates.

Look if there are articles or reviews posted in free article sites, special offers, and free samples.

Sometimes, it is wise that you use your own advertisement strategies. There are affiliate programs that use the same ads over and over again. By placing some fresh ads, the impression of the prospect is that it is a new product.

Affiliate marketing is full of surprises. Follow the aforementioned starting elements and pointers and start your affiliate career by hitting a gold mine.

Temex Resources To Advance Gold Projects In 2010

Temex Resources (TSX-V: TME) is operating in and around the world-class Timmins gold camp, which has produced over 65 million ounces in its history of gold production. Since acquiring its first gold project from Inmet in 2002 while gold languished at about one third of its present price, the company has initiated a joint venture with Goldcorp on its Whitney project, announced a substantial resource on its Juby project and discovered bonanza grades on its bluesky Latchford project. The company’s President and CEO Ian Campbell explains how his team got into this gold-rich district early, surrounded by some heavy hitters.

Resource Intelligence: Why did you choose the Timmins gold camp for exploration in particular?
Ian Campbell: We have two projects in that camp. At 65 million ounces this is Canada’s largest gold camp by ounces produced, by a long shot. We model ourselves after companies like Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, where they committed to the camp and are now going underground and doing an advanced underground exploration program on their mine on the west side of Timmins.
It seems like the more you explore around in the old mining camps, the more success you have. Lakeshore was in new territory in the sense that there was really no mine on the west side of Timmins, and by exploring a little bit deeper and making that commitment, it has turned out for them. They have over a million ounces and are scheduled to go to go into full production later this year.

RI: What is the premise of the deal you have with Goldcorp on the Whitney project?
IC: We have to spend million to earn our 60% and we achieved that goal last year in June, and delivered them the data and the exercise notice of the option.
The exciting part about this project is that it hosts the Hallnor Mine—a multimillion ounce past producer, which is the highest grade past producing mine in Canada’s largest gold camp. The ownership is now with Goldcorp and we were able to leverage into it back in 2004/05.

RI: What did you find in that million expenditure?
IC: We did a fair amount of drilling. As I said, the Hallnor Mine is a past producer, but there are also a number of other mines in the project area as well. Overall, the property has seen over 2.5 million ounces of gold production, so we have some significant targets.
We explored the near-surface targets and have some fairly significant results that show us we require more drilling to test out the open pit potential. Based on the ,000 plus gold price, everything has changed in the last number of years here. Being in Timmins with access to infrastructure doesn’t get any better.
We also did some deep drilling on the Hallnor. 1.7 million ounces were mined from the Hallnor mine to levels of about 1,500 metres below surface. They stopped mining at what were property boundaries back in 1972. These boundaries don’t exist anymore, so we did some deep drilling which would have been across the previous boundary and sure enough we found extensions for some of these veins.
We also made a brand new discovery in the last number of holes that we drilled called the Q zone. That’s shallow to mid range depth, but we got some significant results there.

RI: Your Croxall project is also returning significant results. What have you completed and what is the plan for further exploration there?
IC: The Croxall property is located in the west Timmins mining district. We were able to get into that area back in May of 2009 by obtaining the option to earn a 100% interest in the property, which is about 2,400 acres. So far, we’ve drilled almost 3,000 metres in eight holes.
We’ve had some grades of up to 1 g/t over 15 metres and narrower sections of higher grade. At this early stage, that was very good news. We’ve only got one hole down to 300 metres, but we’ve hit the right rock types and have seen some visible gold. We view it as a significant sniff to tell us that we need to continue drilling and to drill a little bit deeper. So, we plan to double our existing drilling there later this year—up to about sixteen holes.
Lakeshore Gold is contiguous to the west of us. The area is really heating up with lots of other juniors exploring nearby.

RI: What is your drill program for 2010?
IC: We would like to do a minimum of 10,000 metres on the Whitney project and another 5,000 metres of drilling on the Croxall project.

RI: Juby is your most advanced project. It’s 100% owned and you’ve got resources on it. Let’s talk a bit about what got you to that stage of exploration.
IC: Inmet completed 25 widely spaced drill holes and hit gold on every hole and they believed the property had a million ounce potential. We were able to purchase it for 0,000 dollars and 100,000 shares of Temex.
It’s an interesting area, because the area had been closed to staking for 26 years due to First Nations land claims and then it came open for staking in 1996. As a result, the area has seen relatively little modern exploration but is very similar in geology to Kirkland Lake, which is a highly productive mining camp as well. We decided to drill off the Juby main zone and to date have outlined NI 43-101 compliant resources of 479,000 gold ounces of indicated ore at 1.72 g/t Au and a further inferred resource of 186,000 gold ounces. Both are open for expansion as well.
Given the current gold price, which was around 0 per ounce when we last drilled Juby we are going to update the NI 43-101 resource utilizing a lower cutoff grade, and we expect that should give us a larger resource.

RI: You also have some bluesky potential at your Latchford project.
IC: Yes, we discovered Latchford when we were exploring for kimberlites. Our prospector was out inspecting a target and came back with a boulder containing spectacular gold mineralization—200 ounces per tonne. Every year we devote some money to that. It’s high risk, but it’s going to be high reward if we ever discover where that boulder came from.

RI: How should investors evaluate Temex Resources as an investment?
IC: We are a precious metals exploration company that offers big upside at any moment from the next drill hole while at the same time reducing the downside risk by always adding ounces onto the books on our Juby and Whitney gold projects. We’ve also got a lot of bluesky potential on our Croxall and Latchford projects. If you like precious metals and you like this prolific gold district in northeastern Ontario where we have committed to discovery, then we’re an excellent option for investors.

Rare Element Resources Plans Major REE Drilling Program at Bear Lodge

When Resource Intelligence TV last interviewed our next guest in June 2009, his company’s shares were trading at about .50 per share. Since then the market has caught on to the potential size and grade of Rare Element Resources’ (TSXV: RES) huge Bear Lodge project and have bid the price above .45 per share. Perhaps this is a reaction to the sizzling rare earths (REE) sector, but also reflects Rare Element’s consistent high-grade results at its Bear Lodge project and the acquisition of the Nuiklavik REE Project in Labrador. Rare Element Resources’ President and CEO Don Ranta is a Doctor of geology and this year led his company to the 2010 TSX Venture 50 list.

Resource Intelligence: Your stock has outperformed the market substantially in the last 12 months. So much so that Rare Element Resources was recently named to the TSX Venture 50, which is a ranking of the strongest performers listed on the Venture Exchange. What are you doing that others are failing to do?
Don Ranta: The answer has several different parts to it. First on the technical side, it all came together when we completed a 43-101 resource estimate that showed that we had about 8.9 million metric tonnes of over 4% rare earth oxide (REE) and that caught the market’s interest.
Secondly, we started getting metallurgical results back, especially on the oxide, near surface mineralization, which is about half the deposit. The oxide metallurgy ended up having very attractive metallurgical characteristics. Between the report we got in July and then another in September, we keep improving on the metallurgy, especially on this oxide zone. Since then, we more than doubled the number of drill holes in the deposit with a very successful drill program in the fall and I think that has helped the stock price as well.
From the geopolitical side, China announced last spring that they might be cutting back on their REE exports and that got everybody in the western world a bit nervous about where they were going to get their REEs to continue production outside of China.
Plus a whole series of newsletter writers caught onto that before the mainstream press. Newsletter writers certainly recognize Rare Element Resources because we have the second highest grade deposit in North America and one that is perceived as better than some of the others.

RI: Explain how important metallurgy is. You mentioned that you’re getting great results. Can you explain how important that is, particularly with a rare earth project like yours?
DR: The two key things with most rare earth projects are metallurgy and infrastructure. Every rare earth deposit around the earth has variable mineralogy and variable metallurgical characteristics, so every one ends up being a research and development project unto itself. That’s why we got an R&D metallurgy lab to work on our material. It’s some of the same people that did the initial work for Mountain Path and Molycorp years ago—two of the largest molybdenum companies in the world, until the Chinese drove them out of business in the 1990s.
The second crucial aspect of REE projects is infrastructure. There has to be quite a bit of transportation either of concentrates or of chemicals, to a common location and because of that infrastructure gets to be really important. If you have to develop your own infrastructure it gets to be very burdensome, especially on rare earth deposits because most of them aren’t mined at bulk tonnage rates. It’s not a huge production rate, but if you have to move a lot of concentrates or the chemicals, it ends up being a problem.

RI: What is it about your present infrastructure that ameliorates that?
DR: Our infrastructure is outstanding. The deposit itself is only about twelve miles from a major interstate highway. It’s thirty five miles from a railhead. We have water nearby and there is power within two miles of the project site. There is a major mining center just a short distance to the west in Gillette, Wyoming. It’s mainly coal mining, but nevertheless they have a lot of the same skilled laborers that we would need. Being in northeastern Wyoming where there is lots of infrastructure nearby, is an ideal location plus Wyoming, at least in the Fraser Institutes ranking, ranks #2 in the world.

RI: What are the grades that you are getting at Bear Lodge and what do they tell you?
DR: A lot of holes are getting grades anywhere from 3% to 8% and we obviously love to see those higher-grade holes. It’s interesting that with our drilling results from this year, some of the best results were actually on the margins of our drilling, so that means that it’s still open for continued expansion. We are very pleased with that. The 3% to 8% grades, with average of a little over 4% on our resource estimate, represents a very significant value per tonne. Our resource report indicated that the average rate was around 265 dollars per tonne, but since then the rare earth prices have gone up, plus if we take into account some of the elements that we did not consider before. John Kaiser has recently done a recalculation and put out a notice that the rare earth at Bear Lodge would be more like 370 dollars per tonne. That is especially in this oxide zone where we are getting good metallurgical results.

RI: What is the target size for the project that you are projecting now?
DR: We are hoping and expecting that we are going to increase the oxide resource especially. We focused on the oxide this year because that’s where we’re having the best metallurgical results. I anticipate that we may have as much as a doubling of the oxide resource. I’m not positive of that, but we’ll just have to wait and see what comes out of our resource estimate. We should have that new resource report done sometime in the spring. I am hoping by the end of the first quarter, but it could be March or April.

RI: You are also doing a scoping study or is that the same report?
DR: The scoping study would be a follow-on report. We feel we will do the resource estimate first and we feel that the increase is going to be material to the company and we’ll report that and have a separate report coming out for that and then we’ll have a follow-on report, probably some time in the summer. Sometime this summer we should have that scoping study done.

RI: Those scoping studies are crucial, particularly to the investor who likes to get their hands dirty and figure out evaluations, because at that point you are going to get into the economics.
DR: Basically, in oxide we expect to double the resource or somewhere around there. I think ultimately we will double the total resource, 8.9 million metric tonnes and there is a potential that we could triple it with our continued drilling. That may be after the 2010 drilling program or it might even be in 2011. The ultimate goals are to at least double or triple the total tonnage.

RI: How much acreage does the project comprise and how much of it are you focused on?
DR: All the rare earths that we found of any significance in the Bear Lodge area are within about one square mile, which is roughly the equivalent of three sq. km. It’s a relatively small area, but it’s interesting that surrounding it are all these gold targets that Newmont is working on. There seems to be some kind of geological zoning there that we don’t fully understand at this point, but nevertheless, that’s what we’ve seen—rare earths centrally located, with gold targets almost completely surrounding the rare earths.

RI: These gold showings surrounding your Bear Lodge project are called the Sundance project, which is a joint venture deal with Newmont. You’re working on the rare earths; they are working on the gold.
DR: Newmont is earning a 65% interest in the Sundance venture. It’s basically the same property as the rare earths, but the rare earths are excluded from the Sundance venture. If Newmont found copper or silver that would be part of the deal with them. They can earn 65% in the first phase by spending million over five years. They have to spend .5 million by June 1st and up through about the middle of winter they’ve spent about .7 million. So there is a bit of a shortfall there and it will be interesting to find out how or if they plan to go forward.

RI: What kind of results have they had?
DR: They have had some good results. They are finding lots of low-grade mineralization. Their drill hole spacing is quite broad at 100 to 200 meter spacing. They are not looking for a resource, they are looking for a Newmont sized deposit. There is a question in my mind whether or not that deposit is actually there, although we are confident that there is going to be a small deposit, maybe one to two million ounces that could be defined fairly easily.

RI: How well-funded are you?
DR: We have enough money for this year. If we ran into a market problem we would have about million in the bank and that would be enough to complete a very serious program on the Bear Lodge project. We’re going to raise an additional million before summertime or when our major drilling program starts around June 1.

Milestones:

* New 43-101 resource estimate completed by Q2 2010
* Newmont must spend .5 million by June 1 (Sundance project)
* Commence major drilling
* program by June 1 (Bear Lodge)
* Preliminary Economic
* Assessment completed by
* summer 2010
* Triple resource size at Bear Lodge by end of 2011

There are many ways to earn money online some more difficult than others, some more expensive than others but ALL require vasts amount of time to set up and maintain. There does exist a way to earn money online that is not as time-consuming or expensive as other “systems”. In fact, if you can spare ten minutes a day or a half hour or so per week, you can make money online. With that much time and effort I can’t guarantee you’ll earn big money but you’ll earn something. And, of course, once you you do see those trickling dollars here, a few pennies there; you’ll want to place even more time and effort into it! That’s when the ball will really start rolling. This method of making money online ONLY snowball’s into larger and larger proportions the more you put into it. There’s NO selling, NO advertising costs, once implemented there are NO headaches. Who knows maybe you can even quite your job some day and have a veritable “cash tree” at home. It is the one thing ALL the search engines crave, the reason they send out their “robots”. The search engines will eat your site up and deliver you thousands of FREE visitors. You don’t even need a website to start earning online with this method.

So here are the Keys to Earning Money Online:

1st Key – Content

That’s the answer that literally thousands of people package up with pretty bows and landing pages (a.k.a web page) and sell to you for about eighty bucks too much. There may lie a secret out there to making money online but the one I stand with is CONTENT. That is the key to making money online, easily, affordably, and continuosly.

CONTENT IS KING

Fresh, informative, unique, quality Content, to be more precise, is what search engines adore. It’s free, you can write your own content and you don’t even have to be an amazing writer (just look at me and I’ve been earning money online for nearly ten years now). You can work on it whenever you like. Your content so way what you will (try to keep it legal).

Keyword Density - Amount of times a keyword or keyword phrase repeats itself in your content.

e.g. You write a fabulous five hundred word review on “Tennis Shoes”. Your topic of choice is Tennis Shoes but this keyword phrase (Tennis Shoes) is only displayed in your title and never again shows up in your content but the keyword phrase “Muddy Terrain” (just an example) repeats itself ten times in your text. What you really want are readers that are looking for “Tennis Shoes” but you’re instead receiving “Muddy Terrain” visitors because to the search engine robots the Keyword Phrase that repeats itself the most is, you guessed it: “Muddy Terrain”.

Try to aim for a 5% keyword density and all should be alright. This figure is often difficult to achieve without your content sounding very very very very very repetitive. If you want targeted readers you need to create a balance between quality and keyword density. This isn’t hard and I can guarantee it gets easier as you go along. Back to our e.g.

5% keyword density on 500 words = 25 repetitions of “Tennis Shoes” is needed. So try to get those into your content right away to ensure that the search engine robots know how to classify your content. (I know that the figures may be off as there are TWO words, its okay to estimate).

2nd & 3rd Key – Display & Monetization

These two keys I’ve grouped together for a reason: Display and Monetization go hand in hand. To ensure that you’ll earn money online your content should be displayed in a way that it is both easy for the reader to read. Reading your content should be a pleasure. This is also true for your ads (Monetization), they should display meaningful offers based on your content. Displaying your content can be done in a number of methods:

1. Website- You can always buy a domain, pay someone to build you a website (or build it yourself) and then place ads on your page to monetize your content.

2. Blogs – Same concept as “Website” but without the hassle of building or buying anything as most are free.

3. Article Directories – This is where you submit your content to directories that do exactly what you need them to do: Publish your content. These sites are dedicated to getting people reading your content. Many also offer Revenue Sharing on ads displayed when a visitor reads your content from their site. This is BY FAR the easiest and simplest way to make money online with your content. The more of these you submit your content to the more you’ll earn (generally speaking).

Revenue Sharing – Mainly done with contextual ads, for example: Google AdSense, Overture, FAN, etc. In return for your content (to prove to you the power of content) these websites offer you a percentage (usually in the 50% range) of the impressions of the ads shown when a user reads your article. Confused?

Let’s say 100 people read your article, that means that the ads will in/surrounding your text will display with your Publisher Id for 50 of those views (based on a 50/50 sharing rate). Which means that, during those 50 impressions, if a visitor clicks on an ad YOU earn money for that click! This may not seem like much but don’t forget that these sites receive millions of viewers a month and there is not limit to the amount of dorectories you can submit your content to. Post to as many of these as possible.

Contextual Ads – Remember I told you to keep that keyword density up? Well this is why. The most common ads, contextual ads, work on keywords. These will reflect ads that are pertinent to the context of your content. Why is this important? Higher paying keyword phrases will yield higher paying clicks. Some companies pay up to 50 dollars A CLICK on certain keyword phrases! If your content has a good keyword density of those 50-dollar-keywords then those ads will be displayed and if someone clicks on that ads you’ve just earned 50 bucks!

Link Backs – Some of the Article Directories don’t offer Revenue Sharing but you should still submit to these as well. Why? You may be asking? Simple. In ALL article directories you can place a link to anywhere you like in your resource box (by anywhere I normally mean a website or page). Why not place a link to one of your submissions on another site? Maybe one that does allow to earn? You still benefit from their mountains of traffic and all it cost you was a couple of minutes filling out some forms.

4th and Final Key – YOU

You, author, writer, poet, blogger, you are the ULTIMATE Key. If you really and truly want to earn money online, whether it be part time of full time, you are the answer. The more work you put into this (like all else in life) the more you get out of it. I have given you all the Keys to Earning online right here and if you have any other questions you may always ask now it’s time for you to open the door as only you have that ULTIMATE key!

Keys To Earn is an answer to all those who want to earn money online without spending a dime. All you need to do is submit high-quality content and your Google AdSense Publisher ID (displayed 75% of the time) and you’re on your way to making money online. We take care of the website, you take care of the content.
Keys To Earn

Google’s AdSense is a fascinating revenue-sharing opportunity for small, medium and large web sites. Some webmasters are designing brand new sites specifically for serving AdSense text ads. (It’s against the AdSense rules to design a site purely for AdSense, so you’ll want to include a few affiliate links or sell your own product, too.)

I read an article about how to increase adsense revenue from associate programs here is the analysis from the article

Let’s say you have a goal of earning 0,000 a year from AdSense. Is that possible? Let’s see … 0,000 divided by 365 = 4 a day. So your goal is to produce either:

274 pages which earn a day or
548 pages which earn 50 cents a day or
1096 pages which earn 25 cents a day

The following are hypothetical cases. To earn a day per page, you need, per page…

400 visitors, 5% click-through rate (CTR) and average 5c payout.
Or 200 visitors, 10% CTR and an average 5c payout.
Or 100 visitors, 10% CTR, and an average 10c payout.
Or 100 visitors, 5% CTR, and an average 20c payout

Let’s assume you choose a goal somewhere around the middle, say aiming for 50 visitors per page and want 274 pages earning a day. You’d need 274 x 50 = 13,700 pageviews a day.

Does that sound too tough? If so, you’d better look for more profitable keywords and ways to improve your click-through rates.

Let’s try a different scenario, You choose more profitable keywords and make your on average per page from, say, 10 visitors. 274 x 10 = 2740 pageviews a day, That’s looking easier to achieve, If your average visitor sees 3 pages, you now need 913 unique visitors a day.

Is that too tough to achieve in your niche? If so, create two sites, each attracting half that number, 456 unique visitors, a day, Can’t achieve those click-through rates and payouts? Then you’ll either need more pages on your sites on more niche sites.

Please note, because of the AdSense rules, these are all hypothetical cases. I’m not allowed to give real cases. Real CTR rates and payouts vary hugely.Choose the goal which best matches your site or sites.

Then start building keyword-rich pages containing well researched, profitable keywords, and get lots of high quality links to your site.

For example, if your site is about topics such as debt consolidation, web hosting or asbestos-related cancer, you’ll earn much more per click than if it’s about free things.

On the other hand, if you concentrate only on top-paying keywords, you’ll face an awful lot of tough competition.

What you want are keywords that are high in demand and low in supply, So do some careful keyword research before you build your pages.

Happy Keyword researching

TO get an idea about a blog and google adds go to

there are googtle adds on the right side of the site

Employers that self-insure for workers’ compensation have greater incentives than insured employers to return injured employees to work as quickly as possible. And because self-insured firms typically are larger, they often have more opportunities to offer injured workers modified work. This report examines the consequences of a disabling workplace injury for workers at 68 private self-insured employers in California from 1991 through 1995. Using employer-provided data on permanent disability claims, which were then linked to longitudinal data from the state of California on earnings before and after injury, the authors estimate the earnings losses associated with a permanent disability and examine the post-injury employment patterns of permanent disability claimants. They found significant earnings losses for claimants at the self-insured firms–more than 20 percent of earnings over the five years after injury. The authors compared the experiences of workers at self-insured firms with workers at insured firms and found lower proportional losses at self-insured firms, but also slightly lower replacement rates. They also found better return to work at self-insured firms. However, when controlling for pre-injury earnings, industry, and firm size, differences in earnings losses between workers injured at self-insured and insured firms are diminished.
